ANNIE'S STORY

A wise man asked me once, “What’s your plan B?” Which I answered with “I don’t have a plan B.” He replied, “thats the right answer, because you know then, you’re determined to succeed at plan A."

Annie is a graduate of BA (Hons) 3D Design: Idea, Material, Object at Bath Spa University. The works made during this 3D Design course were executed through a range of materials, processes or scales with a focus on developing a personal viewpoint in design.

Annie has always loved jewellery, which she reveals, she inherited from her mother. In Annie's final year at University, she developed a keen interest in designing and making jewellery as a career choice. 

Based in the rural countryside of Leicestershire, UK her interests lie in Ceramics and Jewellery. After graduating from Bath Spa University with the skills and knowledge of product design, Annie began her journey in Jewellery Making and Stone Setting at the School Of Jewellery, in the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. She continued her education further at the School of Mater Jewellers, set up by long-serving professional Jeweller, Cassandra Reed.

Annie works on her bench from home in her converted loft space, designing and creating jewellery in Sterling Silver and Gold, taking inspiration from the Leicestershire countryside, her interests in nature, geometric designs and out-of-the-ordinary precious stones and semi-precious stones.
